Born Under the Sign of Virgo, Sun in Pisces, Moon in Aquarius
I did not start out as an Astrologer. I was raised by religious parents on a horse farm in the west desert of Utah. Growing up under the wide open skies gave me a love of the night sky; the stars, planets and constellations.
At the age of 6, my mother taught me to use a sewing machine. By the time that I was 13 years old she had taught me all of the skills required to make clothing. In 2001, I started a business called Angela's Occasions which offered tailoring and repairs but my specialty is custom ceremonial garments such as bridal gowns. Several years later, in 2009 after extensive study about the hemp plant and its many uses, I created a hemp clothing line called Hemp Goddess.
Throughout my childhood I struggled with a few chronic health issues. By the time that I was 27 years old and my 3rd child was a toddler, I was suffering from depression, obesity and had developed gallbladder disease. At which point, a dear friend introduced me to The How to Herb Book. I dove into a study of my specific issues, took responsibility for my health by taking action to make the appropriate changes to heal myself. For the 8 years that followed, I avidly studied herbalism and natural healing. In 2009, I became a Certified Family Herbalist.
In 2006, an Astrology book on a friend's coffee table piqued my interest. Within its pages, I was introduced to my Moon sign. It resonated deeply, much more than any Sun sign based horoscope ever had. It described me so well that it sparked my interest to learn more. Another friend lent me The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need; Joanna Martine Woolfolk. This book taught me about all the planets that are in a Natal chart and to draw charts by hand. I proceeded to draw my chart and the charts of my 5 children and husband. In 2010, I bought an updated version of the book which included Astrology software. At that point, I started to give readings to my friends and family members that had an interest in Astrology. In 2017, after a lot of life changes, including a divorce and relocation. I was struck by the lightning of a Uranus opposition. Astrology seemed like it might be the thing that would provide me with the guidance that I felt in need of. Over the past 9 years that I have dove even deeper into my astrological studies, I have come to know myself and understand that nothing in my life has happened by accident. My life journey has become much more meaningful to me. Astrology is divine guidance, it is God speaking to us and through us.
I currently live in western Colorado in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, orchards and farms. I enjoy creating healthy and delicious food for myself and my family and sharing meals with my friends. I am the mother of 6 children and 6 grandsons, whom I love very much!
